My deposit is not reflecting? What do I do now?
At Quidax, we process lots of deposits a day. As such, if an instruction is not followed precisely, your deposit could end up taking several days to reflect in your local wallet balance.
Some of the reasons our system may not recognize your deposits are:
Incorrect deposit reference:
If you did not enter the reference accurately, your wallet balance may not be credited within the service level agreements. Find screenshot below for what your unique deposit reference looks like.
Some users input the deposit reference in their own reference field, instead of the field for the beneficiary. In cases like this, it’s difficult for our finance team to track the deposits.
Incorrect amount deposited:
In a case where the amount deposited is different from what was submitted on your Quidax wallet, we would not be able to apply the corresponding balance to your wallet. Where there is such a discrepancy, you would need to contact our team to further advise on how to resolve this conflict.
Using someone else’s bank account:
Did you make your deposit from a bank account that does not belong to you? We do not accept deposits to your Quidax wallet if made from a friend or family member’s bank account or a business account (even if you are the owner of the business). This can also cause the deposit to be delayed. In this case, we will reverse the transaction, returning the money to the bank account from where it came.
Help us find your deposit:
If your deposit is not reflecting in your Quidax wallet after two business days (excluding weekends and public holidays), please send us your proof of payment. Our team can only assist you with proper proof of payment from your bank.
Your proof of payment must show the following information:
Your full name.
Amount of deposit.
Date of deposit.
Reference number used in the recipient’s reference field (if applicable).
